The Missouri Sierra Club just complete nine days of trail maintenance work on the Ozark Trail. Working from October 19 to October 27, we finished maintenance work on the entire Blair Creek section of the Ozark Trail and the Laxton Hollow connector. In addition, we greatly improved six miles of the Brushy Creek Trail.
Forty-six people participated over the course of the expedition - all of them enjoying the Luise Stephen's amazing cooking and the hospitality of the folks at the Current River State Park. We especially thank Bill Black and Mary Ficker for taking time out from their work with the National Park Service to talk with Sierrans at the Alton Lodge.
Thanks to all who participated to make this year’s expedition a success!
